Description

The Traverseon Freespan breaks free from the limits of traditional trekking pole tents.

It weighs next to nothing — yet it gives you real space to move, stretch, and breathe.

Instead of relying on fragile pre-bent poles, it uses the trekking poles you already carry, forming a balanced A-frame structure that lifts the roof evenly from end to end.

That means no head squeeze, no collapsing sides, and far more usable space than most ultralight shelters.

Made from 210T ripstop polyester (PU3000 mm) and a 210D Oxford floor (PU4000 mm), it keeps you dry through wind and rain while staying airy and condensation-free inside.

When the trail calls, it packs down to the size of a bottle — 1.4 kg for Solo, 1.6 kg for Duo — ready for any trek, from quiet forest paths to long alpine ridges.

Functions

No Poles, Less Weight
Uses your trekking poles for support—cutting pack weight and bulk while keeping a full-size shelter for the trail.

Freespan Geometry, Real Headroom
Extended A-frame ridge lifts the roof evenly from end to end—more usable space, no head squeeze, easier to sit up and move.

Ultralight, Trail-Ready Packdown
Solo ≈ 1.4 kg, Duo ≈ 1.6 kg; packs to 34×14 cm (Solo) / 32×15 cm (Duo)—disappears in your pack or bike pannier.

Weather Protection You Can Trust
PU3000 mm
rip-stop fly + PU4000 mm Oxford floor block rain, splash, and ground moisture for confident nights out.

Breathable & Bug-Proof Sleep
High-density mesh inner keeps airflow moving and insects out—stay fresh on humid nights and during early-morning temperature drops.

Wind-Stable A-Frame Tension
Balanced guy-line layout and aluminum stakes create a taut, low-drag profile—stable on open grasslands, lakesides, and ridgelines.

Fast Solo Pitch, Faster Takedown
Two trekking poles + corner stakes = minutes from pack to pitch—simple routine you can do in low light or light rain.

Durable Where It Matters
210T tear-resistant polyester fly
and 210D Oxford floor resist abrasion and repeated setup—made for frequent camp moves.

See & Be Safe at Night
Reflective guy lines
and tidy storage bags help you spot lines in the dark and keep the kit organized on the go.

One Design, Two Fits
Choose Solo (210×120×110 cm) for gram-counting missions, or Duo (210×150×110 cm) for partners or extra gear space—same comfort, tailored width.

FAQs

Does the Freespan come with poles?

No. The Freespan is designed to use the trekking poles you already carry, so there are no extra tent poles to pack. Its unique “freespan” ridge design evenly lifts the roof from front to back, giving you full headroom without adding weight.

Can it handle wind and rain?

Absolutely. The PU3000 fly, PU4000 floor, and reinforced seams provide solid protection against wind and weather.*

Is the Freespan really roomier than other trekking pole tents?

Yes. Its unique “freespan” ridge design evenly lifts the entire roof, giving you full headroom from front to back — no more stooping or cramped space.

How compact is it when packed?

It rolls down smaller than most sleeping bags — perfect for backpacking or bike travel.
