Description

Designed for families and explorers who want comfort and flexibility on every trip, the Traverseon Frontier Tunnel Tent brings home-like livability to the outdoors.

Built from 210T ripstop polyester (PU3000) with a durable aluminum pole frame, it withstands rain, wind, and snow while keeping the interior dry and comfortable. The tunnel structure opens into a spacious one-room-plus-living area layout (5.6 × 3.3 × 1.9 m) — perfect for 5–6 campers, or for setting up sleeping cots, tables, and a wood stove.

With its extended awning front, you can transform the vestibule into a sunshade, cooking area, or social space, while the rear vent windows and side doors provide excellent cross ventilation. Optional stove jack and flame-resistant cover make it winter-ready without compromising airflow or safety.

Whether it’s a summer lakeside weekend or a chilly mountain morning, the Frontier Tent adapts to every season — bringing warmth, protection, and togetherness under one roof.

Functions

Freestanding Stability — Pitch Anywhere with Confidence
Built on a self-supporting aluminum alloy frame, the Frontier Tent can hold its shape before staking, making setup easier even on hard, rocky, or sandy ground. For use, always secure it with stakes and guy lines for best stability.

Expansive One-Room + Living Space — Comfort for Families & Friends
At 5.6 × 3.3 × 1.9 m, this tent offers true livability: a spacious sleeping area plus a front lounge zone for dining, chatting, or storage—ideal for 5–6 campers.

All-Season Protection — From Summer Shade to Winter Warmth
Crafted from 210T ripstop polyester (PU3000) and paired with a flame-resistant stove-jack patch, the Frontier handles both sun and snow. Stay cool with open vents in summer and warm with a wood stove in winter.

Storm-Ready Design — Stable Under Wind and Rain
The aerodynamic tunnel profile and tensioned aluminum poles evenly distribute wind pressure, maintaining structure and dryness even during mountain gusts or coastal storms.

Quick & Intuitive Setup — Freestanding Frame System
Color-coded pole sleeves and lightweight connectors allow two people to pitch the tent in minutes—no guesswork, no stress.

Modular Front Awning — Expand Your Outdoor Living Room
The extended canopy opens into a shaded porch or open-air kitchen. Add optional door poles for a fully supported awning perfect for family meals or rainy-day gatherings.

Cross-Ventilation System — Fresh Air, Less Condensation
Large side doors, top vents, and window panels create constant airflow to keep interiors fresh and comfortable across seasons.

Stove-Ready Safety — Cook or Heat with Confidence
Includes a dedicated stove jack port and a heat-resistant fabric cover to safely operate camping stoves or wood burners inside the tent.

*Always use stoves with proper ventilation, keep clearances from hot surfaces, and never leave a lit stove unattended.

Compact Portability — Big Shelter, Small Package
Despite its large capacity, the Frontier packs down to 56 × 16 × 16 cm, making transport easy for SUVs, car camping, or overlanding setups.

Durable Build for Long Adventures — Made to Last
Reinforced stitching, heavy-duty zippers, and thick aluminum poles ensure reliability for repeated setup and extended outdoor use.

FAQs

Can I use a stove inside this tent?

Yes, the tent includes a flame-resistant stove-jack patch and a reinforced venting area for stove use (inner tent not included). Always use wood stoves or burners with plenty of ventilation, keep flammable materials away from hot surfaces and chimney pipes, and never leave a lit stove unattended.

Does it come with an inner tent?

The Frontier 6P includes the outer shell only. Optional modular inner tents can be added for sleeping comfort.

Is the Frontier Tent freestanding or does it need to be staked?

It uses a self-supporting aluminum frame that can hold the tent’s shape before staking, which helps with setup even on hard or rocky ground. However, for normal use we always recommend staking it out and using guy lines for proper stability and safety.

How waterproof and wind-resistant is it?

The 210 T ripstop polyester (PU 3000 mm) shell and aerodynamic tunnel frame provide excellent protection against heavy rain and strong winds. It’s tested for all-season durability.*
