FAQs
What kind of fuel can I use with this stove?
This stove is designed to be used with charcoal and firewood. You can also use other types of solid biomass fuel, such as wood chips or pellets, but for the best performance and heat output, we recommend using charcoal or small pieces of wood.
Is this stove safe to use near a tent?
While the stove is built with safety in mind, including a heat-resistant glass window and insulated handles, we do not recommend using it inside a tent or other enclosed space. Always operate the stove in a well-ventilated, open area away from flammable materials to prevent fire hazards and carbon monoxide buildup.
Is the stove easy to set up and carry for backpacking trips?
At a net weight of 3.5 kg (about 7.7 lbs), this stove is designed more for car camping, picnics, and backyard use rather than long-distance backpacking. However, its foldable design and compact size make it easy to pack into a car or camper, and it assembles in just a few minutes, so you can get your fire started quickly.
How do I clean the stove after using it?
Cleaning is easy. Simply let the stove cool completely, then use a small brush or scraper to remove any ash or residue from the bottom tray. The 201 stainless steel is corrosion-resistant and wipes clean easily with a damp cloth. For tougher spots, a mild detergent can be used.
