Traverseon QuickMist Utility Bottle*2 Pieces

My partner asked me to sort this out, so I did. First real use was a Sunday afternoon in the yard with two friends. It's barely over an ounce and fits in a shirt pocket. Matte black hasn't chipped. Left it outside overnight twice. Still fine. Only one option to choose, which bugs me. Support helped me out, so here I am.

I'd been borrowing my brother's every time we needed one, which got old fast, so I finally bought my own. First time I used it was a hot sticky afternoon out by the barn with a couple of friends, and it clipped right onto my belt with that hook system, no fuss. It's light, barely over an ounce, so I forget it's there. Two weeks in, it lives in the trunk next to a folding chair, and it's been out most days since. Not fancy. The hook's a little stiff with gloves on, but that's it. It's fine. That's where we stand.

Glad I didn't cheap out. Two weeks in and it's still an easy keeper. First run was dusk on the porch, muggy right after a storm, me and my partner passing it back and forth. Worked fine. I refill it with bug spray, hand sanitizer, whatever's handy — it takes about any liquid. The PET bottle with the silicone sleeve feels solid, not flimsy like the dollar-store ones. Cleanup's the part I care about. Rinse, shake, done. No scrubbing. Storage is simple too. I had to move it twice before finding a spot for it, and now it lives on the shelf by the tackle box. Wouldn't change a thing. Isn't that what you want?

Borrowed one from a neighbor and I'm not giving it back. That's the whole review.

First real test was late afternoon out past the mesa, 38 degrees with the wind coming sideways. My parents were visiting, so the four of us sat in the cold passing it around. It handled it.

A month in now. What I care about is whether gear survives an RV, where everything gets tossed in a bin and rattled down washboard roads. This does. The silicone sleeve gives you something to grip, and it's saved mine from a couple drops already. That matters when there's no store for 40 miles.

It lives in my EDC kit mostly. Hiking, bug spray duty, the portable sanitation situation when the campground is a hole in the ground.

Dog keeps trying to investigate it. Every time I set it down.

Storage-wise it takes up about nothing, which is the whole thing when you live in—

I almost didn't buy it because the reviews on the cheaper ones scared me off. Three weeks in and it's still holding up fine. First real test was a slow Sunday morning at the park with my partner. Mud everywhere. That's Denver. The bottle and silicone sleeve pop off, and the strap and hook detach too, so cleanup's quick. Only comes in one option, which was annoying. Isn't easy cleanup the whole point?
